Episode 2.6 - Secrets and Lies


Bianca: I can't believe dad gave us his blessing to get married... I thought he would be furious if I want to marry a man his age.

Lindi: Aww, your Dad knows that there aren't any other men in town you can marry besides the men at your work. And he doesn't know any of them. So he decided to give his blessing to a man he can trust. One of his best friends...

Bianca: Aww, that's true. But I do love Quinton with my whole heart and won't change him for any of the men at work.
Lindi: So are you going to wear my wedding dress...?

Bianca: I think I like... *telling her mom which dress she wants to wear on her wedding day*

While the others are planning a wedding Amber 'babysit' her brother...
She really loves spending time with him and teaches him all the stuff he needs to know.


Zoë: I need to tell you something...

 Andrew: "..."


Zoë: I'm pregnant!
Andrew: Really?

Andrew: That's wonderful news! Let's go tell the family and get married...
Zoë: That's what I want to talk to you about. I don't want to tell them yet...

Andrew: But why not? I think they will be thrilled to hear the news... Their first grandchild...
Zoë: I don't want to tell them now... Bianca is getting married soon and I don't want to spoil her day with our news.

Andrew: But their wedding is only in Spring and our baby will already be born. You won't be able to keep that a secret. 
Zoë: Yeah, I know, but that's why the two of us will move into one of the cluster houses until after the baby is born. I really don't want to ruin Bianca's wedding day.

 Andrew: I don't like this... I really think we need to talk to your parents and tell them you are pregnant.

Zoë: Dad, Andrew and I've decided to start renovating one of the cluster homes and will be moving there for the time being... We will work late and then it will be too late to come back home every night. If it's okay with you?

Jonah: But what about your job? I don't want you to neglect your work and end up losing your job.
Zoë: I won't lose my job Dad, I do have leave days left and will take these to do the renovation.

Jonah: Okay, I really hope your plan will work out and we can attract people from other towns to come and live among us. It will be nice to have neighbors and see new faces.
Zoë: I'm sure it will work, Dad...

Bianca and Quinton also decided to go check out the houses and choose a home for themselves to move in after their marriage. It will be nice to have a place of their own and some privacy...




Bianca: Let's check this house out... 
Bianca: Oh, what is in that black box?

 Quinton: It's a Television, but I guess it doesn't work without electricity...

 Bianca: What is electricity?

 Quinton: I will tell you another day. Let's check out the rest of the place...




Zoë: My Dad fell for my story...
Andrew: I don't like it to lie to your Dad. I still feel we should've told them the truth...
Zoë: It's too late now. We're here now and won't go back until after the birth.
Andrew: "..."
Zoë: Andrew, I'm really sorry that you had to lie to my dad, but please understand my side too. I really can't do it to Bianca. She deserves to be in the spotlight on her wedding day...

 Andrew: And you? Don't you deserve anything?

 Zoë: "..."

As the days went by Lindi tried not to think too much about Jonah. Luckily the two kids kept her busy. That is what keeps her alive and helps her not going mad. Episode 1.1 - Zombies Galore

How did 4 friends end up in a campsite surrounded by... ZOMBIES!!!! It's a long story for another day. After hours of waiting for the zombies to leave they decided to go to sleep.  The next morning in daylight they discover 2 apple trees and a vegetable garden in the camp.      Then the guys decided to explore the town for some scrap to build stuff they needed to survive in this town because it looks like if they will stay here for a long time.  But the zombies are also all over the town. Quinton and Andrew take turns to explore the town... They are the Scavengers of their group. Lindi is taking care of everyone and keeping the camp clean and making sure everyone has something to eat. Jonah does all the building and repairing stuff. Everything would have been cool if it wasn't for the Zombies. They are very dangerous and love to eat your brains if they come near you.
