Episode 1.3 - A Tragic Move

The trees turn an orange color and it gets colder by the day...

Jonah loves to spend some time with the new baby...




Quinton told Andrew about the girl he saw the other day.
Quinton: What if the Zombies infected her? I should've run after her and made sure she's safe...
Andrew: You did what you could. You did save her from the Zombies that attacked her...
Quinton: Aww, you are right. I did my best.

 Lindi: What? Is there a girl that isn't a Zombie out there?

 Andrew: Yeah, Quinton saved her from the Zombies the other day...

 Lindi: Aww, you should've invited her over. I would like some girl's company...

 Quinton: Another girl's company? You have ZoĆ« now... ;) 

 Lindi: "..."
Jonah: I take it that there must be still other survivors like us? It's a pity you didn't follow the girl.

 Quinton: Yeah, I should've but at the same time I had to look out for other Zombies. They are everywhere...  
Jonah: I wish I could go out and gather stuff... I feel trapped in here...

 Quinton: We need you here to look after your girl and help her with the camp stuff... And now with the baby...

 Jonah: Yeah, I know...
Then it's ZoĆ«'s birthday... 
And she got her mother's hair color...
Lindi got her 'fridge' and hope it will keep their food fresh for the winter.
Zoƫ starts to crawl and explore the surrounding area of the camp.

She also demands attention.

 Zoƫ: Uncdrew, stowwee...!

 Andrew: Not now, Zoƫ! I'm busy!
Zoƫ decided to look for someone else to read her a story... Her Uncdrew is busy now...
But Uncdrew isn't always busy...  He does have time to play with her. 
Daddy is teaching her how to walk...

Zoƫ: Daddy, why is mommy spewing?

Jonah: I don't know, Butterfly... I think she ate something.

Zoƫ: Croach?

Jonah: Hehe... No, my Butterfly... She didn't eat a cockroach. I just think she ate some fruit that wasn't fresh anymore... 








Andrew: Guys... I really think we should get another place to stay... It's too open here and with Zoƫ and the new baby coming before the winter, I don't think we can survive it here with only one small room and the tents.
Lindi: But where should we go with all the Zombies running around?
   
Quinton: Andrew and I did look around at some of the places, but they are mostly destroyed or the zombies have already occupied it. They are literally everywhere... We did shoot a few of them but it looks like if they breed like rabbits. Every day there is just more of them.


Then one day Quinton has good news for them...

Quinton: Guys, I've got a place for us to stay in the winter. It is an abandoned shop but with a good clean up, it should be safe to stay there until the winter is over. Just one thing...

Lindi: What?

Quinton: There's no way that you and the kids can go outside. You will be trapped inside there for the whole winter. The Zombies are everywhere... So we need to keep the doors locked all the time.

Quinton: Andrew and I will go clean up the place and move our stuff there. When everything is ready, we will go together with you and ZoĆ«. We will protect you against the Zombies. 




After a few weeks, the place is ready and they can move in...
With all their stuff there the place looks almost liveable...
If it wasn't for the Zombies, they could stay there forever...




Lindi: Guys... Where is Jonah? I didn't see him this morning when I got up.

Andrew: Uhm... He went out for supplies...
Lindi: What? I thought you guys said he should stay here and look after me and Zoƫ? How could you let him go out? Did you give him a rifle at least and showed him how it works?
Quinton: Jonah, begged us to let him go out for supplies... And he got his gun with him...

Lindi: You two are dead meat if he doesn't come back... I can't believe you let him go... He isn't experienced at all. What does he know about the world out there? 

Andrew: He will come back. He's a grown man and can look after himself.
Lindi: I really hope so... I won't forgive you guys if he never comes back...

Quinton: He will be okay... I'm sure of it. Do you remember the time that we all thought he's a goner? The time when we went hunting and he got lost in the woods...? We only found him three days later high up in a tree. Dehydrated and starving but fine... He is a survivor! So don't worry...! He will come back!

Lindi: I really hope so... If he doesn't come back in an hour, you two will go out and look for him. You hear me?

Andrew: Yeah... We will go. Just give him time to show himself that he can do it and that we all believe in him. Don't baby him. You know he hates that!


But as the hours go by and he didn't come back they knew something must have happened with him. Andrew and Quinton also went out looking for him but couldn't find him.


After a few weeks, Lindi gave birth to another girl named Bianca...




Lindi: It's now eight weeks that Jonah is gone... You guys really shouldn't let him go...

Quinton: Yeah, we know, it was a mistake. But he begged us until we let him. How could we know...
Lindi: OMG! Who's that?
Lindi jumps up and runs to the door.
Lindi: Jonah...!

Quinton: Don't open the door! He's infected! Look!








As the days went by, they saw him just one more time...
And then it starts snowing...

As the days went by Lindi tried not to think too much about Jonah. Luckily the two kids kept her busy. That is what keeps her alive and helps her not going mad. Otherwise, she would have gone outside and looking for him. And that would've been a disaster. She could be Zombie munchies long ago. Also to keep herself busy she re-arrange the room.  Checking out all the new stuff the guys brought back from their scavenger trips... And then a few months later it's ZoĆ«'s birthday... Episode 1.1 - Zombies Galore

How did 4 friends end up in a campsite surrounded by... ZOMBIES!!!! It's a long story for another day. After hours of waiting for the zombies to leave they decided to go to sleep.  The next morning in daylight they discover 2 apple trees and a vegetable garden in the camp.      Then the guys decided to explore the town for some scrap to build stuff they needed to survive in this town because it looks like if they will stay here for a long time.  But the zombies are also all over the town. Quinton and Andrew take turns to explore the town... They are the Scavengers of their group. Lindi is taking care of everyone and keeping the camp clean and making sure everyone has something to eat. Episode 2.1 - Grown up and a New Job

Bianca: Are you ready for the big world outside the fence, Sis? I really don't know why Dad wants us to go to work? Uncle Andrew and Uncle Quinton are providing for us?
