Episode 1.2 - A New Life

With the new baby on his or her way, the guys decided to build a proper room. First, they have to get wood to build the walls with. While the one guy is on standby, the others saw the trees into logs.

After a few hours of working the first two walls are standing.

And after another day or two, they can put up the roof.

Lindi: I like!

Andrew still needs to go out on his scavenger trips to get water and more supplies.

And as usual, the Zombies are also there where ever he goes. 

Don't they have other places to go to?

Haha, it's funny to see how they pinch their noses when they pass the bin.

But watch out! She's coming back for your brains!

Andrew gets out of the bin as quickly as possible before the Zombie tries to attack him.

But he was quicker than her and she bites the dust...

He doesn't stay around for the funeral.

Lindi: Guys, you need to create a counter for me that I can prepare the food better. I'm craving green salad and my baby begs for something else than roasting apples...

Andrew: You can always feed him or her roasted tomatoes instead...

Lindi: "..."

Quinton: Okay guys, the mother to be, has spoken... She needs a counter to prepare better food for us... Let's make her wishes come true...

Then it's quiet in the camp when everyone goes to sleep.

As the days go on it's starting to get colder and the trees are shedding their leaves off which is a sign of the coming autumn and winter seasons.

Lindi: While you at it, the shower needs some repairs...

  

Jonah: Now you're telling me!

Quinton and Andrew are adding some walls onto the baby room.

After fixing the shower, Jonah does some gardening. They also need to gather as much fruit and vegetables for the winter season because all the gardens will be dormant as the harvest season will be over in winter.

Quinton also goes out to get some supplies.

Because their garden is small in their camp they also have to harvest fruit and vegetables where ever they can get it.

While dumpster diving one day Quinton saw another non-zombie girl...

And also, Zombies coming for her...

He gets out of the bin as fast as he can...

And shoot the Zombies just in time before they attack her...

But she runs away before he can talk to her... 

He decided to go back to the camp.

Lindi: Did you get me the chocolate I was craving for?

Quinton: Aww, sorry, the cafe on the corner just sold out. But there's some other junk that I got for you. I left it at the gate. What I need now is a shower while you guys sorting them out... 

Jonah: Yeah, please... Go get a shower, you smell like a skunk!

Quinton: Duh...

Lindi got her counter to prepare food on. She really needs to ask the guys to create some kind of a fridge for them too. The fruit and vegetables are not going to stay fresh in the basket and will not last for the whole winter.

Then a few days later...

Jonah: Lindi are you okay? I heard you calling out.

Lindi: Yeah, I'm fine... Just need a quiet place to give birth...

Quinton: What? Is the baby coming? Must I boil water? Can I get dry towels for you?

Lindi: Nah... That is only old women's stories... Just give me some privacy and I will be okay...

And the guys do as she told them to do... Go on with their daily chores... Minding their own business.

After a few hours, a girl name Zoë was born...

After she attended the baby and made her comfortable, she comes out of the baby room...

Lindi: Aww... That is just what I need now. Something else than roasted apple... Andrew, you are a darling...
